Wine Eyed Jill

This dahlia is an excellent producer for me and is an earlier bloomer.  It’s pastel flowers are lavender pink, brushed with yellow and have a deeper wine coloured center.  This 2-3″ ball shaped dahlia is very versatile in arrangements as it ties in multiple colours and pairs very well with Coralie. The bloom colours can vary over the season slightly showing more yellow.  You will also see more yellow versions of this flower for sale.  Presently, it is not clear to me yet if the colour differences are related to soil conditions or tuber types.  I have included a photo of the more yellow version of this variety, but I am presently not selling those tubers at this time.

The plant is 3.5′ and flowers are formal decorative in form.
